Just got an e-mail from the folks at Marine Corps Base Hawaii announcing the lineup for BayFest 2008.
For the second year in a row, event organizers passed on a big name hip-hop act in favor of country and rock acts.
Little Big Town and Rodney Atkins will perform on July 4, followed by 3 Doors Down (pictured) on July 5. Everclear, who last visited the islands in 2005 to play Pipeline Cafe, will close things out on July 6 with Live.

oooo i wonder if rodney atkins is related to that one dude trace atkins that was on the celebrity apprentice. he was cool.
other than that. yawn.
BayFest always has the same type of radio-friendly (and kinda lame) acts every year. Who goes to this yearly event except the obvious military-type crowd, really?
