Finally got confirmation that Jason Mraz’s return to Honolulu will be at the Waikiki Shell and not the Blaisdell Concert Hall, as originally announced.
If you were able to buy tickets at the Blaisdell Box Office or Times Supermarket locations on Oahu before they sold out last weekend, you’ll be able to exchange them for reserved seats at the Shell starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Exchanges must take place at the original point of purchase, and you have until April 26 to do so. Those who purchased online or by phone will have their tickets exchanged automatically; if you’re not happy with your new seats, call (877) 750-4400 and choose option number two for a different seating assignment.
Don’t have tickets? Advance general admission lawn tickets, priced at $25, go on sale at the same time exchanges begin on Saturday.
For those not hip to the self-described “boy with the fallopian voice,” check out the YouTube video above of what will be the lead single on his new album, “We Sing We Dance We Steal Things,” which is set for release next month.
“I’m Yours” started as a demo that Mraz recorded in his home studio in San Diego and released as a track on a bonus EP. The song spread like wildfire, and Mraz wisely made the decision to include a fully-produced version on his new album.
Watch close (okay, maybe not THAT close) and you’ll see what appears to be footage from Hawaii. I can’t figure out if it’s Oahu, or Maui, or both, but I love it anyway!
Anybody recognize this sign?

So I am a little confused because ticketmaster has taken down the page that showed tickets going on sale online saturday morning at the shell… if I don’t have tickets yet, will I be able to buy general admission tickets ONLINE saturday morning? Thanks!
I think Ticketmaster might have deleted the wrong event.
They still show the concert, with a note about a venue change, but it still says it’s taking place at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

I’m sure they’ll have it straightened out by Saturday morning.
hmm, i don’t know where that sign is, and i was gonna say big island because of the one huge waterfall, but then i saw the hanalei pier. it could be all islands actually.
Ah… that’s Kauai’s version of “The Bus” here on Oahu.
Thanks Jeong. I thought I recognized that sign, but it looks like part of it was blurred out in the video.
I’m thinking Mraz filmed on Oahu, Maui AND Kauai. Must have been fun jet-setting from island to island…
Now I just wonder exactly when he was here to do all that filming.
I think he didn’t want to disclose his location and it has a phone number on the sign. Definitely jet setting on different islands.
A lot of HI exposure this week with American Idol, Mraz music video and the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Looks like Maunawili falls that everyone’s jumping off of!
actually it looks like a small falls in the back of Kapaa on kauai… the pier looks like the lihue pier… the concrete walk looks like somewhere in kapaa…. you guys do know that he went to the kauai and spent over 5 days at Napali Coast… I believe it was back in 2005/2006 when he made the “myspace song” and had it up for only a short time… He loved Kauai…
He had blogged about it on the internet not sure if you can access that now, but maybe if you google jason mraz blog napali coast or kauai it will come up
