For the third time in as many years, Led Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepplica returns to Hawaii for a pair of concerts on Oahu and the Big Island.
Formerly known as Led Zepagain, the band formed in 1989 and has toured both nationally and internationally. Frontman Joe Retta will be joined by guitarist Lenny Mann, bass and keyboard player Stan Taylor and drummer Darryl Johnson on stage while in the islands.
Big Island fans will get the chance to see Led Zepplica first at Uncle Mikey’s in Hilo on July 20. Tickets are $15 pre-sale, $20 at the door.
On July 21, the party moves to Pipeline Cafe, with local rockers Buddhist Priest opening the night at 6 p.m. Tickets for the Oahu show are $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door.
Both shows are 18-and-over. Call 479-6004 for more info.
