The analysis of a runner’s gait has gone high tech. Here, “pacer” Annie Kawasaki pointed out details of how runner Yuji Yamamoto’s feet landed while running yesterday during testing by Nike at this year’s Honolulu Marathon Expo at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. More than 22,000 runners, race walkers and wheelchair athletes are expected to participate Sunday in the race.
