Fancy footwork kept the children's attention Wednesday during the Celtic Keiki performance at the Hawaii Kai library. The show, called "The Magic of Ireland: Dance, Music and Culture of the Emerald Isle," featured Irish river dancing, music and stories under the direction of Lorraine Suankum.
Sisters Caleigh and Delia Fabro went toe to toe in an Irish dancing competition judged by audience response.
Tristan Fabro, 11, sang an Irish song as part of Wednesday's event. He was accompanied by his sisters Caleigh, left, and Delia.
Four-year-old Aiden Marino, above, put his fingers in his ears as the dancers performed a hard-toe river dance. The 45-minute program is recommended for children ages 3 and older.
