Hawaii holds off LaTech 24-14

Hawaii enjoyed yet another festive homecoming with a 24-14 win over Louisiana Tech last night at Aloha Stadium.

Hawaii quarterback Inoke Funaki led a balanced Warriors offense in UH’s seventh straight homecoming win. The Warriors improved to 3-3 and 2-1 in the Western Athletic Conference.

Funaki completed 14 of 26 passes and threw for a career-high 224 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for another score as the Warriors racked up 402 yards of total offense.
