Two schools to stay shut tomorrow

Leilehua High and Wahiawa Middle schools will remain closed tomorrow because of water damage, said Education Department spokeswoman Sandy Goya.

“We are hoping for the weather to continue to clear up,” she said.

Statewide, 37 public schools were shut down today because of the weather, ranging from Sunset Beach Elementary on the North Shore of Oahu to West Hawaii Explorations charter school on the Big Island.
