Palmer wins Hawaii volleyball Gatorade honor

Sarah Palmer of Hawaii Baptist Academy is the 2008 Gatorade Hawaii Volleyball Player of the Year.
The 5-foot-11 junior outside hitter notched 217 kills and 119 digs for the Eagles (19-2). She was also honored recently as the Star-Bulletin's state volleyball player of the year.
Palmer has orally committed to a volleyball scholarship at Texas.
