A 52-year-old Honolulu man was charged yesterday for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl over seven months.
Richard Dobarro of a Kinalau Place address was charged with eight counts of first-degree sexual assault, five counts of third-degree sexual assault and two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault.
Police said Dobarro had allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl from Sept. 11, 2006, through April 9, 2007. The girl, now 17, reported the man was an acquaintance.
Dobarro voluntarily met with a police investigator, and turned himself in Monday. His bail was set at $50,000.
