Brew Moon restaurant closes

Brew Moon Restaurant & Microbrewery did not open for lunch, pau hana or dinner today and will not reopen.
Employees were notified today that the restaurant had ceased operations and there was no need for them to come in.
“All the employees were called and told we were no longer operating,” said server Kristi James.
Her roommate, Ashley Tyler, was also a server and a bartender at the restaurant. Neither had any information about collecting their last paycheck.
The general manager “doesn’t know what’s going to happen with our paychecks,” she said. “They’re supposed to be there and they’re not, so he doesn’t know.”
A publicist for Ward Centre told reporters today the restaurant was closed at lunch due to an unspecified problem with gas service but that it would reopen at 5 p.m. She could not be recontacted after the restaurant’s closure was confirmed.
