The NCAA Division II West men's basketball regional final between Brigham Young-Hawaii and Cal Poly Pomona originally scheduled for Tuesday at the Cannon Activities Center in Laie has been changed to Wednesday by the NCAA, Pacific West Conference commissioner Bob Hogue said today.
The move resulted from Cal Poly Pomona's inability to get a flight from Seattle to Honolulu today. The team will arrive tomorrow. Tip-off Wednesday is 7:30 p.m.
BYUH beat Cal State Dominguez Hills 84-71 in a second-round game last night to advance to the round of 16 game.
The third-ranked Seasiders (27-1) are riding a 24-game winning streak. If they win Wednesday they advance to the NCAA II quarterfinals in Springfield, Mass., next week.
