Firefighters rescued a hiker who hurt her leg on a Pupukea trail above the boy scout camp on the North Shore this morning.
At about 9:30 a.m., the woman fell and couldn’t walk, said Honolulu Fire Capt. Terry Seelig.
Firefighters met the woman and her friend not too far from the trail head and carried her out, Seelig said. The other woman walked out on her own.
Firefighters transferred the injured woman to paramedics about 30 minutes later.
