Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to a call of a woman trapped under a truck tonight.
The local woman in her late 30s was somehow freed when emergency personnel arrived, said fire Capt. Terry Seelig.
A truck had rolled over the woman at about 6:30 p.m. along the narrow road at Kaena Point, about a half-mile on the Waialua side of the point, he said.
Emergency personnel treated the woman, and then a fire helicopter transported her to an ambulance at Dillingham Boulevard, and she was taken to a hospital.
Seelig said she was conscious and talking, but he did not know her condition.
