Lusitana Street reopens after water main break

Lusitana Street was reopened this afternoon after a water main break, according to officials from the Honolulu Board of Water Supply.
The area between Auwaiolimu Street and Pauoa Road reopened at 2:30 p.m., but there is a contraflow section to allow workers to fix broken valves.
Officials said crews expect to finish the repairs this evening.
The water main break was reported at 4:30 a.m. yesterday and several homes remained without water until 10 p.m.
