Hawaii remains at No. 3 in volleyball poll

The Hawaii volleyball team, riding a 14-match winning streak, remained at No. 3 in the AVCA Coaches Division I Women's Volleyball Top 25 poll released today.

The Rainbow Wahine (18-2, 8-0 Western Athletic Conference) are behind Penn State (22-0) and Texas (16-). The Nittany Lions received 52 first-place votes and the Longhorns eight.

Stanford (14-5) leapfrogged from sixth to fourth with Washington (17-2) dropping a spot to fifth. Rounding out the top 10 are Illinois (16-3), Minnesota (1-5), Nebraska (15-5), Iowa State (17-3) and Florida (16-3).

Hawaii leaves for a three-match road trip tomorrow where the Wahine will play Fresno State Thursday, Nevada Saturday and San Jose State Monday.
