Danielson earns all-academic honors

Hawaii sophomore hitter Kanani Danielson was named to the CoSIDA academic all-district team today.

Danielson, who carries a 3.51 GPA, was selected to the second team. She was the only Rainbow Wahine volleyball player chosen.

Danielson leads No. 3 Hawaii in kills (4.03 kills per set). 

To be eligible for the College Sports Information Directors of America academic team, a player must be a starter or key reserve at least at the sophomore level and have at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
