'Dog' Chapman catches fugitive who shot at him

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. » Bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman tracked down and arrested a fugitive who had shot at him and escaped yesterday.
Colorado Springs police said Chapman and a bail bondsman were shot at while trying to apprehend 35-year-old Hoang Nguyen into custody at an apartment complex last night. Nguyen shot at them at least once with a handgun and fled on a motorcycle. No injuries were reported.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that Chapman tracked down and arrested Nguyen without incident early this morning. He was wanted for attempted second-degree murder.
Sgt. Roger Vargason says initial reports showed Chapman and the bondsman were armed with paintball guns while trying to capture Nguyen, who also is wanted for domestic violence and a gun charge.
Chapman is best known for A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter” TV reality series, which is filmed in Hawaii and Colorado.
