Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a Makiki convenience store nearly two months ago.

The two suspects entered at a 7-Eleven Store at 2028 Wilder Ave. on Sept. 9 at 2:30 a.m. One of the men approached the cashier and demanded money, while the other suspect removed cases of beer from the cooler, according to police. The cashier refused to open the register and was assaulted by one of the suspects. Police did not say whether they had a weapon.

Both suspects were described as in their 20s. One man was 5 feet 9 and about 160 pounds with black wavy hair. He wore a red baseball cap, shorts and had a bandana around his face. The other suspect is about 5 feet 8 and between 180 to 200 pounds with black wavy hair. He was dressed in a red jacket,  black pants and a black cap.

Anyone with information about the incident can call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on a cellular phone.  Free cellular calls are provided by AT&T, Nextel Hawaii, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless Hawaii.
