The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Oahu through 10:30 a.m. today.

The weather service says radar shows heavy rain over south Oahu near Ewa and Waipahu with the rain moving to the northeast and into Kaneohe. "Additional heavy rain will continue to affect Oahu for the next several hours," according to the warning.

The warning includes, but is not limited to, Waikele, Kunia, Waipio, Waipahu, Pearl City, Mililani, Kaneohe and Aiea.

A warning means that flash flooding is imminent or occurring in streams, roads and low-lying areas.
